Our daughter is moving to Atlanta. Her workplace is at Paces FerryRoad SE, zip 30339. She would need one bed room apartment in safe locality with indian convenience store near by, Marta connectvity and having indian community. Request for suggestions, guidance and rents and furnished options.

Unfortunately Cobb County where her work is located has not joined MARTA. Buckhead, Dunwoody, and Sandy Springs areas would be the closest options and all have large, diverse international populations.

Why not have her integrate with the rest of America instead of isolation in the indian community. I promise we won’t bite.

She should live near her work in Vinings or Smyrna GA. Tons of nice, safe apartment communities. There are Indian grocery stores just a mile or two away in Marietta. Smyrna is extremely diverse, people from all over the world live there, including from India.

Plenty of Indian people in Smyrna and Vinings, and one of the more popular Indian restaurants, Swapna, is nearby, on Cobb Parkway. My Indian neighbor says it is his favorite, by far. If I could both live in and work in 30339, I would.

There is a very large Indian population out here where we live. Yes, they have an informal Indian community, but they also integrate with and are very involved in the larger community. To an extent, all demographically similar groups do just this - whether it be based on religion, ethnicity, etc. It's okay.

Cumberland/Smyrna/Vinings area does not have Marta connectivity.

Sounds like you are scared of diversity. That is a shame.

Y’all are *******s. The parent is asking for advice for a safe location for their child and some familiar community for comforts of home support. It’s somethinf we would all want for our own children. Nothing written insuntates anything else. Get off your high horses.

Areas with a large Indian population include Cumberland, Perimeter, North Fulton/South Forsyth, Gwinnett, and Midtown. Cumberland should be voting on MARTA in 2022.
