I posted a thread a few days ago about moving to the greater Atlanta area, specifically the Gwinnett County area. To be a little more specific, I don't know how many of you all are familiar with the Germantown area of Memphis, but I am looking for an area similar to that in the Atlanta area. Somewhere that is very suburban but yet established and with lots of trees and greenery, not just ugly homes and concrete. Any opinions and suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

i would have to recommend alphafretta. it is its own city. it is upscale, very clean, and, in my opinion, a good place to rear children. hope this helps you. by the way, i have an aunt who lives on west paces ferry and a cousin who lives in peachtree city. those places generally have large homes---estates---and most in that area are probably a little more upwardly mobile than most of us looking for homes. land and houses in most, if not all of the area, is generally pretty expensive. you may not want to spend as much money as they want you to spend. i do have to say that these areas are as nice as many areas in larger cities, nyc, boston, philadelphia, and chicago.
