More greenspace, green roofs, and better pedestrian experience.

I guess it would be nice to have more green space. I do wish that they would focus on the quality of their education more. It's very much lacking. Just a warning for potential business students...

With admissions to Georgia Tech and, only to a slightly lesser extent, Georgia becoming super-competitive. GSU has an opportunity to fill in the space that UGA left behind—being a “first-choice” school for Georgia residents that most folks have a chance of getting into. This would certainly help in that regard.

It seems like they're bound and determined they're going to take down all the historic structures. Sparks Hall with the wood and marble interior, gone, replaced with something that looks like a big box store. And of course the Bell Building taken out for the hundredth time in their plans.

GSU Alumnus here and not happy with the plan or the President's moneymaking efforts and deterioration of academic standards. They're not doing what the students want or need. They need professors that know what they're talking about and can effectively communicate their subject matter to the class. They need to stop ripping the students off. This is a classic lipstick on a pig situation.

Acceptance rate at UGA is 53%, not exactly difficult. GSU is 56%. Obviously test score average is higher at UGA so may be some self selection factor. Georgia Tech is 32%. Emory is 23%.

The test scores between the two arent even close so yes, the acceptance rate means pretty much nothing between those two.

GSU isn't well-known as a scenic campus, so whatever they can do to improve that will be welcome.

But it does integrate pretty well into Downtown.

Just to make sure I understand properly, are you saying it will help those who need to get into a 4-year university who have trouble getting into one (especially like Tech and UGA)?
