I have searched the forum and cannot find the thread. I found the one which recommends doing it yourself. Well, we need a fence up Asap, there is a stream at the end of our yard and my nearly 3 yr old son is very adventurous and also likes to play outside.

Can anyone recommend good companies that serve the Mcdonough area.

or if you can find the other thread, that will be great.

Thank you.

Yeah, that's the one that keeps popping up (which is mostly about doing it yourself) , but I seem to remember one thread that gave quite a few companies which I wrote down in my note pad but the movers packed the pad and I won't be seeing that for a while - its on a ship somewhere (moving from England).

I used Need-a-Fence, Inc. (based out of Smyrna) and they did a good job. Another one that is bigger that I got an estimate from, but didn't go with b/c I prefer smaller companies was Chamblee Fence.

I have used both Allied Fence and Chamblee Fence in the past - very professional companies with lots of options and fairly competitive rates. My neighbor used First Fence with disastrous results Moderator cut: removed

Must put in a plug here for Apex Fence Company. They installed over 600 feet of galvanized steel fencing for us. People keep stopping to tell us how pretty our fence is. Apex also handles wood and will work within your budget. The owner of the company came out to do our estimate. They completed ours in about four days, and that was with one day lost due to a late shipment of our gates. They are very popular, however, and they probably won't be out immediately. But they will do an excellent job. Not sure if they serve your area, but I would definitely check. Very competitive rates if our estimates are anything to go by.
