It makes no sense. Waffle House is disgusting. You go to Waffle House because nothing else is open. It's a last resort. It represents every last thing people despise about chains. Yet, somehow, it overcomes all this an retains mass popularity. I guess it's just the kitsch factor of eating in a greasy spoon diner?
As a 20 year old, there are only certain times of the day when I’ll go to Waffle House: either late at night with friends or in the morning by myself. I have always enjoyed it and the cleanliness problems have usually not been extremely bad at the ones I’ve been to. I love their All-Star special breakfast in particular.

Except that Waffle House is not limited to only Atlanta.

And where else can you get waffles? Every other place serves just pancakes.
