This is absolutely soul-crushing to read. We are building for-profit Trump concentration camps. And yes, they are concentration camps. Just like the Japanese camps here in America during WW2. And just like the Nazi camps prior to WW2.

The Nazis didn't start with death camps. They started with concentration camps just like these. They then progressed to forced labor camps. And finally death camps.

And now we're getting one in Atlanta. What an absolute downer of a world we are in.

This is the part that really gets to me. This is just the worst part of crony capitalism. I haven't gone and verified the claims, but I have a friend who researched into some of these camps and found that most are run by these for-profit companies whose board members consist largely of Trump admin officials and other Republican lawmakers/cronies. If true, that is the single most disgusting capitalistic thing I have ever witnessed: creating policy to profit off essentially imprisoning people for simply trying to come here, and then treating them like literal garbage. But, coming from this administration, it is 100% expected. Maybe more than 100%.

I have very few Trump-voting friends. I shouldn't say "friends". They are people I know or went to school with. They absolutely love this. They want more of it.

The Japanese were here legally, and yes it was shameful.

Concentration camps in WWII were also shameful.

I think the camp is wasteful, because the better solution is to process people quickly at the border and kick out the majority who are really economic migrants not eligible for asylum.

I humbly suggest you learn the reasons for the rise of the Third Reich and how it could not happen here before making ridiculous posts like this. There are many checks and balances in our constitution that would prevent a rise of fascism like what followed the economic collapse of the Weimar Republic.

And saying this tripe on our Independence Day no less.

Let me know where the protest will be and I'll be there. I will NOT stand for these concentration camps in my backyard.

Yeah, exactly... because everyone knows our constitution is exceedingly effective at stopping corruption from our political powers.

Regardless of the intents of migrants entering illegally, setting them up in concentration camps is purely inhumane and treating children like literal animals is absolutely mortifying. Both of which already violate our human rights clauses within our constitution. What is really pissing me off about this is alot of these people who are supporting this are also religious and doing it in his mighty name and it plainly disgusts me.

haha! As our Fearless Leader rolls tanks down our National Mall and politicizes an American holiday.

As Trump tells his staff to not show up for subpoenas and not cooperate.

He blatantly ignores our Constitution and you seem just fine with it. Checks and balances don't work when you have a dictator as President and a Republican Senate too corrupt to call him out for his usurpation of shared powers.

So it is happening here, but wrapped up in the flag and carrying a cross instead of a swastika.

We live in a fascist state right now.
