Seems good for the new owners (rent from consumer businesses at street level) and the city (more inviting and vibrant). Prob won’t do much for the B2B tenants that pay the rent at the MART. I was down there today and heard the pitch myself.

It will give them a more vibrant, walkable urban environment.

Yeah, but will it get more trade buyers up to the 15th floor etc? That’s the real question. If not, the rent is...too...damn high and IMC is gonna have a problem on their hands. They kind of already do - tenants are quietly exiting left and right.
