Default Slutty Vegan plant-based burger restaurants

Popular local Atlanta plant-based burger restaurant chain Slutty Vegan has opened a new location in the Gwinnett Place Mall/Duluth area.

It’s the first location that the company has opened in Atlanta’s northern suburbs and the second location that the chain has opened outside of the I-285 Perimeter.

Fans of plant-based burgers have a new dining option in Gwinnett County.

Slutty Vegan opened its newest location earlier this month in the Gwinnett Place area at 2045 Pleasant Hill Road in Duluth. It is the Atlanta-based vegan restaurant chain's fourth location.

Slutty Vegan founder Pinky Cole originally launched the chain in 2018 to provide vegan meal options to Atlanta's west side, and it has since opened locations in Jonesboro and Edgewood in addition to the new Gwinnett location, as well as Bar Vegan in Ponce City Market and a food truck.

Cole is also planning another location which will be located in Athens.

This place is good but a bit overrated as well but she's doing a great job of capitalizing on the hype and I think the branding has been excellent. Nothing that they offer is particularly special or unique in any way.

I do wish they had opened closer to downtown Duluth. I suspect it was cheaper to open on Pleasant Hill, though.

The growth of the Slutty Vegan brand should be a case study in marketing classes, but I wish the food titles on the menu were more family friendly. I don't want my daughter to say she wants a Sloppy Toppy or One Night Stand for dinner.

I'm a 27 year old yuppie young-millennial/old-zoomer and am thoroughly baffled as to why someone would pay a premium for processed soybeans and seasoning. I guess maybe if you're an actual vegan and want variety or something, but there are omnivores who actually go to this place. What can you not sell to Americans?

In fact, I just looked at their menu and it's significantly more expensive than a standard fast-casual place. Shouldn't it be a lot cheaper? No difference in general overhead and the ingredients are basically cattle feed (if that). What a world.

Lol, I don’t know if they exactly had family friendly themes in mind when they named the restaurant “Slutty Vegan.”

There will always be whiners no matter what. The lady opened a successful business that caters to vegans and meat eaters. You come here to whine about something that you clearly do not have to partake in. Based upon what you have said, I am sure that you have never even eaten there. How about you go try it and if you don’t like it then don’t go back.

You can definitely sell anything to Americans but you better believe that many Americans are whiners too who criticize everything.

Why can’t you be happy that someone opened a successful business in the city that you reside in and stop being a hater?

This isn't hating. Someone ostensibly managing to charge $19 for a black bean patty on a bun is mind-bending to the point that I have to wonder if this place is tied into the Mob, or something.
