Yeah, I think this should have been multiple choice. It was hard to pick just one. I like different ones for different reasons. Sandy Springs is great for a young single professional being close in but still the suburbs, but not so family friendly. On the other hand with the Kennesaw, Marietta, and East Cobb suburbs its the other way around.

We've discussed it ad nauseam.

I'll save you the frustration: There is no answer. Everyone has a different opinion.

You may ask well as who the best presidential candidate is and why.

You're just trolling.

If you think it's Decatur, why do you care what anybody else thinks?
Blah Blah...just vote or move on. Some of us do find this poll interesting geez

I'm obviously biased towards Peachtree City, but what about Milton?

Of course we have; you forgot where you were posting . I merged your thread with arjay's on the same subject. All told there are 96 threads in this subforum with "suburb" in the title!

A thread the OP posted in several times. Less than 4 months ago.

I think that begs the question: What's the real motivation for posting the same exact poll so soon after?

Smyrna is a great area. It’s a good mix of urban and suburban living. Close to 75, 285 and The Battery.

Cumming is where it is at, or really South Forsyth as it's a mix of multiple communities.

What tickles me is that Decatur was the highest ranked suburban city.

It was an incredible place in the 1960's and 1970's, but 2020 is a different time.

I used to have to go to Dekalb County Courthouse in Decatur to pickup our company car license plates, etc. It was the most depressing government offices that I've ever seen. Their county government's performance is reflective of the citizens that have moved into their county--dismal.

Doing business in Gwinnett County and Cobb County was such a nice, pleasant experience--dealing with people that knew what they were doing. And it was like going to the mall.

This is a very difficult poll to take as so many of those small cities listed literally melt together. I've been gone 16 years from Gwinnett County, and we left because of the debilitating traffic and big city congestion.

We're all entitled to our opinions, but the average person who likes living in Metro Atlanta finds places such as Decatur, Cobb County and Gwinnett County appealing exactly because they've grown into diverse/crowded/bustling suburbs of Atlanta and are no longer rural and/or podunk small towns.
