It's kind of hard to believe he's made SO MUCH money!

I'm glad Jim Varney didn't live to see what he failed to accomplish with his Earnest character.

One of his keys to success was that while none of his movies were huge blockbusters, he was making movies he enjoyed doing with low budgets $5-20 million and the films were making $50-60+ million at the box office and that adds up over time. In addition, back in 2006 he signed a US$200 million, 100-episode deal with TBS back for Tyler Perry's House of Payne which ended up running for 254 episodes over 8 years. I would assume he invested his money very well.

An interesting interview with Tyler Perry regarding his thoughts on the new studio.

Very impressive.

That's an impressive studio and great news for him and for the city.
I have to say, I thought Tyler Perry already had a studio in Atlanta for many years. I guess I missed something.

He did have a studio near Greenbriar Mall, but to acquire an 330 acre former Confederate Army Base is quite a feat.

I'm not into his movies but I can't help but to respect the man's extreme hustle & grind. That's just impressive. I see GA is really serious about the film industry.

The Miss Universe 2019 crown goes to South Africa. Atlanta and Tyler Perry studios did a great job of hosting on Sunday evening.

I noticed they now have signs up to Tyler Perry Studios along the Lakewood Freeway.

It's quickly becoming a new ATL landmark.

I believe they're on the connector as well.
