I want to see a list of streets and what type of closure/road diet would be implemented.

If they're doing it JUST for this reason, yea it's well past time. Traffic is increasing.

When I read "Some Atlanta streets will be repurposed for walkers", the first thing that came to mind was The Walking Dead.

European style walking street, creating a restaurant & bar district with outdoor dining would be highly popular.

Agreed. We need to know which roads they are talking about.

As I've said in the past, I am okay with converting some vehicle lanes to bike and/or pedestrian lanes for a while. Give it, say, 10 years or so. If the cyclists and pedestrians haven't come out by that time, let the lanes go back to cars.

Broad Street in Downtown is probably the closest thing to this.
