As much as I want a vaccine, I'm 'probably' going to sit that out and keep wearing my mask and social distance until I see clear results as to the outcome... ...although I greatly applaud those brave enough to pioneer into it.

Excellent, but aside from the fact that half will unknowingly get a placebo, this worries me a bit -

“In the spring, the first trial, known as Phase 1, expanded to include older adults, and Phase 2 enrolled 600 people, split between those 18 to 55 years old and older adults. Results of those studies haven’t yet been reported.”

At the very least people signing up should be privy to a summary of the Phase 2 results.

And why would you sign up to be a guinea pig for a vaccine developed by a company with a $30 billion market cap that will probably pay you very little or nothing?

Think of how much they'll make if it works. You ought to get paid a lot to help them get there.

If you get selected please report back on the process and how you are doing, maybe start a new thread on this. Thanks for stepping up.
