The only advice I can offer is that you must aggressively seek employment and present yourself in a stable/professional manner, IRL and online. Then leave nothing to chance prior to moving to Atlanta. You might get a few suggestions from online forums but nobody can really 'find a job' for you.
If you have administrative skills then you could try some temporary agencies --there are hundreds in Atlanta.
Georgia State University, Emory University, Georgia Perimeter College--a few employers that seek employees who want to work and provide for their families.
Bank of America, Wachovia, Suntrust and more banks than I can name.
Retail--Walmart, Target, Macy's, T.J. Maxx and ad infinitum.
Go to the corporate websites and start applying for jobs. Take charge of your career and your life.
