Lake Allatoona crosses through Acworth and there are plenty of communities near it.

We live @ 5 miles from Lake Allatoona. We are between the city limits of Kennesaw and Acworth.

Here are a few Neighborhoods with Lakes - Silvercrest Lakes, Burnet Hickory Lakes, Camden Pointe, Chestnut Hill, Centennial Lakes, Hamlet at Fords Lake and Cheatham Lake just to name a few.

Do any of these communities offer an acre of land?

There are some individual, older homes with Lake Acworth and Allatoona in the neighborhood or close to the houses. You have to luck up on them. I would suggest trying a realtor in the north Cobb area.

Not sure of your price but Silver Oaks has 3/4+acre, Lake at Victoria Falls is 1+ acre lots. Also Burnt Hickory did have some large lots as well.
