My son is a Child Model. We are interested in getting him into Commericial and Print Advertising. He's 17 months old but most of the Agencies in town want you pay fees and they delivery on nothing but empty promises. Is there anyone out there willing to take a chance and put him in our ads? WE WILL WORK FOR "FREE". We just want him to get some experience and exposure. ONLY LEGITIMATE PEOPLE PLEASE! WE WILL ACCOMPANY HIM TO ALL PHOTOSHOOTS. NO PREVERTS PLEASE!!!

Why is it so important to have your baby in modeling?

A few months ago or so there was a tread going on about young children in pagents and commercials and model shoots, and it got extremely heated. I think this even overturns religion or politics in the way some folks feel about it. So I'll just stay out other than to say I hope you find what you're looking for and good luck with this topic. LOL

Because her baby is the cutest baby EVER in the whole wide world and he should be exposed to every and anybody in order to generate a handsome income for his parents. I mean, who cares if a "prevert" may agree that this baby is the be all to end all and so he must pleasure himself because of it.

This is not the right forum for your query. Contact legitimate agencies for kids in Atlanta such as The People Store and Kiddin' Around and let them decide if your child is ready for the big time. Posting on a board like this invites novices to take advantage. As a parent of a child actor or model it is your JOB to be educated about the BUSINESS of modeling so that you and your child do not get taken advantage of. If your child is already a model making money through catalogs, then your agent should be able to guide you in the direction of the next move. And if your child is camera-friendly and affable, you should never have to 'WORK FOR FREE' -- that is a call of desperation and one that a parent should never put out there, especially with such a young child.

A legitimate talent agency will never ask you to pay any fee (other than that which you pay a photographer for a headshot). Any agency asking you to pay for classes, etc..., is a ripoff at best. Also, don't fall for calls that ask you to go to hotels, etc...

Let your baby be a baby... when they're old enough to make their own decisions maybe they can be a model then.

I agree. Posting this type of inquiry on a public forum unrelated to the topic of modeling is pretty pointless. Do some footwork, contact agencies, talk to people who have experience in the field etc.
