After the #6-ranked Georgia Bulldogs beat the #9-ranked Kentucky Wildcats 34-17 in Lexington on Saturday afternoon to clinch the SEC Eastern Division title, and after the #1-ranked Alabama Crimson Tide shutout the #3-ranked LSU Tigers 29-0 in Death Valley on Saturday night to clinch the SEC Western Division title, it is official:

The #6-ranked defending SEC Champion and 2017 national runner-up Georgia Bulldogs and the #1-ranked defending national champion Alabama Crimson Tide will faceoff in the SEC Championship Game on December 1st at 4pm in Atlanta's Mercedes-Benz Stadium in a rematch of the 2017 College Football National Championship game overtime thriller (that Alabama won 26-23) that also took place in Atlanta's MB Stadium back in January.

If you don't just want to watch the game on CBS and would like to see the game in person, the following link tells you how you can get tickets to the game... A game which is widely recognized as the mother of all college football postseason conference championship games, and a game in which prices for tickets appeared to start at $370 each for upper-deck corner seats.

We are big Bulldog fans. My wife bought tickets off Seat Geek last year after we beat Florida. We got an email stating they would send us the tickets one week before the game. One week before the game we got an email from the seller stating they did not have the seats we ordered but we could a)hold out for better seats at the same cost or b)get a refund. We took the refund. Just be careful about the shell game that these ticket dealers play. We were fortunate that Seat Geek guarantees the tickets. I know Stubhub does as well.

Default 2019 SEC Championship Game

Atlanta will reaffirm its status as the epicenter of the college football world as the #4-ranked SEC Eastern Division Champion Georgia Bulldogs will appear in the SEC Championship Game for the third year in a row when they play the #2-ranked SEC Western Division Champion LSU Tigers on Saturday afternoon in Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Downtown Atlanta.

The game, which will have national championship playoff implications, will be broadcast locally on WGCL-TV, CBS 46 Atlanta. Kickoff is scheduled for 4pm.

LSU appears to be favored in the game by about 7.5 points.

B2R - I think the Dawgs will surprise LSU and more than cover the spread. I predict a 3 point UGA victory!

I think that the Dawgs will come out and be more physical than they have all year, particularly on the interior lines.

If the defense can just somewhat shut down LSU's passing game, then I think UGA has a very good chance of winning the game.

Here are a few things to know about what items can and cannot be brought through the security checkpoints at the entrances into the stadium for those who will be attending the SEC Championship Game between the Georgia Bulldogs and the LSU Tigers on Saturday at 4pm:
