It’s just interesting to see places like this for sale in Atlanta:

In Atlanta at these prices!! Phoenix is so much more expensive for the same things these days in comparable locations. I’m truly baffled at such cute older homes being affordable, and even brick lofts not being 400k+ like they are here!! I absolutely love brick lofts, and I love old homes with front porches. Unheard of here.

Unfortunately I cannot buy the first one it looks really appealing. Close to the MARTA line, wrap around front porch and even a carport, and recently renovated. The second loft is super cute, cheap and close to MARTA, that last loft is more my speed right now but the houses are cute too. But I figured these might be in bad areas as they seem… too good for the price haha

I think all the examples you posted are pretty good buys depending on your wants/needs/budget. None of them are in necessarily “bad” areas.

I do think there is a bit of hyperbole when people say that there is no “affordable” housing in the City of Atlanta. Especially when people generally ignore or write off large sections of the city.
