Oh good. We might check it out this weekend. I was telling the little guy about the new cubs that were born. I assume they won't be on display yet, but it sounds like good fun. I need to check how early they open, though. It's going to be a scorcher this weekend.

They were born on Saturday and probably won't be on display until they are between 7 and 12 weeks old...just in time for scorching heat. Ugh!

I think the little guy won't mind missing the lion cubs. He'll probably be happy to see the meerkats, pandas, etc. It's not the greatest Zoo in the world, but there's a lot to see there. It's fun.

Last time I was there they had a kids play area with a train and a petting zoo. I'm not sure if that's still there, though.

Train, merry-go-round, petting zoo, and new playground equipment are all in the kid's area.

It sounds really great, but I'm really struggling with the heat right now, so we might make a road trip this weekend instead. I think we'll go rafting.

I think the air quality is really bad because my allergies are going insane. I've had a headache every day this week.

I thought I'd bump this back up. The AJC website has photos of the lion cubs that are currently on part-time display. They should be on full display sometime in the next few weeks.
