They should start calling that so-20 as in so-2-oh, since they're so into mimicing the soho thing.

It really depends on how long someone has lived here.

When I moved to Atlanta in 1984, Grant Park was in the very early stages of remodel. Back then it was just a few "brave" souls who had moved in to start the transformation of the area. I knew a couple of those original folks and they would say things like, "oh, well, it's not that bad - we've only been broken into three times!". ARGH - it would send shivers down the average Atlantan's spine.

Things are different now, but those who have been here a long time still have that original view ingrained into them and it's hard to shake it sometimes.

We have our share of homeless in Candler Park, especially with L5P and the MARTA station right there.

I don't know about finding a homeless person sleeping in your car but they definitely wander aroudn the neighborhood.

But, since Grant Park does share borders with more "undesirable" neighborhoods than Candler Park it might contribute to more vagrant migration. But it seems to me it's a matter of splitting hairs.

But I realize I am just one perspective.

I agree, unfortunately I am the least handy man that ever lived. I just enjoy criticizing other people's design choices. (That's also my day job.) :-)

Interesting that there are homeless in CP...haven't seen them (except, of course, right by L5P). I used to live in Santa Monica, CA, so maybe less than a dozen doesn't count for me.

Maybe it's just because I live on McLendon, just about a 1/2 mile from Little 5, that I see them. I've never had a problem. Mostly asking for water or just wandering around in a mental fugue.
