What do you all think about a Canadian going to Brunswick? Is there anything to offer a newcomer, or would I be looked upon as an outsider? What is the real estate market like? Is it stable or not stable? I appreciate all of your comments.

You won't be the first Canadian to come there...there are plenty of your countrymen in Bwk.
I'm down here for the summer (on SSI, actually). Brunswick is well located (near Jacksonville and Savannah), and surprisingly affordable for those arriving from other areas. You can find a really nice home here for in the 200's.
My personal favorites in terms of Brunswick neighborhoods are Union Street (gorgeous yet affordable Victorians) and Windsor Park (Tudor, Georgian Revival and bungalows built in the 30's/40's/50's).
There is a lot of momentum downtown as far as redevelopment, too.

I grew up on Jekyll Island (just off the coast of Brunswick) in the 80s, and I remember several Canadians that lived there (either during the winter or full-time).

You might also get more comments if you post in the generic Georiga room - this is the Atlanta room so you'll have fewer people from that area.

Default House for Sale in Brunswick

PM me if you are interested in buying in Brunswick -- we have a house to sell in an established neighborhood, and would be happy to send you some info and help you out.

We lived in Edmonton for 5 years -- our youngest is a Canuck! -- and we loved it in Georgia. (The only reason we left was for a job transfer.)

Good luck!
