I am considering moving to the suburbs of Atlanta, I need to find out which neighborhoods have the lowest crime. Also I have two girls 3yrs and 8 yrs old. I am looking for a good school district. My husband is a collision Technician, What areas would be best for us. We want to buy a home from 180,000-220,000. We were checking out Snellville, What other areas should we check out.

I feel bad when posts get ignored so here goes:

I don't know anything about that part of town. However, you NEED to figure out where you are going to work FIRST and then find out where you want to live.

I have to tell you the traffic here is horrific! So that is the first step...after that we can help you!

You may want to look in Grayson, Loganville, Lilburn, or Dacula. These are all very close to Snellville with good to excellent school systems. I am aware of new homes in all of these areas for your price range.

Is there a reason why you are looking at Snellville ? I know there is a huge Jamaican population there...so in that sense it will be similar to Miramar. My co-worker, however, lives there and her commute to work ITP on the west side is 2 hours.
