I'm curious. Where is Moreland? I have been looking at Fayette and Gwinnett counties as my top choices. I know they are easily an hour apart. Lately I have been considering areas in Metro Atlanta, but don't know where. Im a Teacher and my fiancee is a Nurse. I'm not sure what the job market is like for Nurses up there, or Teachers for that matter. I have been looking at Fayetteville, particularly. There are residential lots for home construction that are interesting me. I don't have a realtor. Since the one I was initially dealing with relocated to the NE, I haven't been able to deal with an honest or serious realtor for that matter. Once they hear I am looking for land to build on, the attitude changes. (I know they dont make much money on a $30-$50k plot, but still that's sad they're that greedy). Those are my experiences. Anyone know where Villages of Lafayette is? Anyone with pics of that subdivision would be appreciated. Some of the lots I am looking at are there. I'd love to see real pics. I'm going again in August, but I'd like to see what other have to say, and pics if possible.

PTC is very nice. I love it there. Land lots to build on are out of my price range. I can't find anything under for $60k. I'd be willing to look again, if something good came up. Im open to suggestions and lead as well. I like the idea of the golf paths. Very simple, yet ingenious. Very unique as well.

Good luck finding anything affordable in PTC! The average price for a new house is over 400,000 and the average existing home price is a little over 300,000. One of the most expensive places in the state.

I am not expecting to find what I want in PTC. It's nice, but not the only nice suburb near Metro Atlanta. It's unique in its own sense, but there are other things to look forward to, other than golf carts and paths. I'm open to other places as well.
