Any info on either of these neighborhoods? Do they all share the same pools etc in the east? Are the families welcoming to newcomers? Good schools? Shopping nearby?

please share any info you may have - we are considering the neighborhood for a relocation.

I believe you are talking about Towne Lake?

Those subdivisions are beautiful....TLHE, TLHN, and TLHW are very nice with prices varying. TLHE is a golf course community with great ammenties. TLHW is a little less expensive and shares amenities with TLHE. TLHN have homes over 500,000 to about a million.

The arbors was the first subdivision in Towne Lake which used to be called Thousand Lakes (I think) and that is very nice subdivsion. They are all very nice...you have Eagle Watch, Wellsley (a John Weiland), the Fairways, Summerchase, Rose Creek, and Wyngate.

I believe all of Towne Lake is zoned to Bascomb Elementary and Etowah High school. They are building The Avenues nearby, you have the quaint downtown area with Hedgewood, a couple of new shops coming (including Aldi), movie theatre, Walmart, Supertarget, Kohls, HomeDepot, and Lowes. There is everything under the sun here...even Trader Joes is about 15 minutes away.

I love this area...you dont have to leave a 5 mile radius to get your errands accomplished. With gas prices the way they are...I am happy to live here
