Gay Pride is actually scheduled this weekend; my 'boys' usually take me down there for the parade and make me their honorary hag...

Based on memory, the biggest 4th of July events are:

WSB's Salute to America Parade down Peachtree Street

Fireworks at Lenox Square, Centennial Olympic Park, and Stone Mountain

If there's a home Braves game, they'll have Fireworks afterwards.

The City of Decatur has a 4th of July parade, concert, and fireworks on the Square: http://decaturga.com/events_july4.aspx

I'm sure other communities around Metro Atlanta also have events (Marietta probably, East Point maybe, etc.)

Dunwoody has a 4OJ Parade too...I'll never forget the year all the parade goers turned their back on Cynthia McKinney as she rode by...
