Does anyone know anything about Cooks Farm in Kennesaw? It seems to be a aligned with Brookstone in some way. Any information would be Greatly appreciated.

Schools-
The schools serving Cook’s Farm are Bullard Elementary, McClure Middle School and Harrison High School.

Developers-
Willoughby & Sewell have been the Developers responsible for over 2500 homes.
As one of the most successful developers in Metro Atlanta, Willoughby and Sewell are responsible for over 2500 prestigious homes in West Cobb County. Their “Brookstone” community was so well planned from the onset that almost twenty years later the homes continue to appreciate in value. Cook’s Farm will be developed in the same successful formula.

Thank you

Dad owns a home in Brookstone he bought in the late 80's. One of the first.

a) Brookstone is Acworth, not Kennesaw
b) Brookstone is now split b/t Allatoona and Harrison H.S., not sure about Cooks but looks like Kennesaw Mtn / Harrison, probably Harrison

c) Homes in Brookstone overall are smaller than Cooks, Cooks is the like the newer mc-mansion homes, Brookstone 20 years ago was very nice, but not considered mcmansions.

d) Brookstone has 4+ phases, different homes, different sizes. Cooks looks all the same.

They're probably only saying 'Brookstone' b/c it's so well known, still in high demand, and they were one of many builders in there.

Thank you, that sheds a little information. I do like that it offers a golf membership to Brookstone at what appears to be a residents price.

I played Jr's at Brookstone. My dad just gave up his membership this past year after almost 20 years. They told him he could sell it but you're put on a list and so many, like 3 new memberships, are sold before a 'old' membership is resold.

You have several courses in the region which wasn't the case back then. My dad actually grew up in Pinetree.

Now in the immediate area you have a few in Marietta, Brookstone,
Cobblestone, Frog, Creekside, Bentwater, Plantation, etc.

I play, there's no way in Hell I'd buy a membership unless it was somewhere like Creekside. It's cheaper to play all courses.

Great information gt6974a. The reason I would like to join a Private Coarse is so I do not have to worry about waiting or crowds.
