Passing the FYI along.

I was driving down Old Norcross Rd in Tucker and saw a little white house on a corner lot. Pine Lake Rd. It is an older house, maybe 40's. Stucco and has several porches and a pergola and is just very interesting.

This is the sort of house I want but am not in a position to buy. If someone else is looking for such a home--get in the car and go take a look.

Peaceful neighborhood and imo, you would enjoy living in/near Tucker. A stable community, diverse and they have applied for a Hometown grant/or something. Improvements are evident and things will get better and better. The Tucker philosophy has endured for decades. 'Live and let live and have some civic pride, do what you can to make things better for all...' Paraphrasing--from my experience of living in Tucker for many years.

I do indeed love Google--all of Google and should be getting paid by Google as much as I 'spread the word' of their greatness. They get to take their dogs to work, you know.

I also love Tiny URL>>>
TinyURL.com - shorten that long URL into a Tiny URL (http://tinyurl.com/ - broken link)

Google should link up with them. Yes?

It is a great house/lot. Somebody go and buy it today. For Sale by Owner.

sigh--I have found several such houses in Tucker---'One Day' it will be my turn. Fingers crossed.

I used to drive by that house all the time when we lived in Smoketree, and I turned off Old Norcross onto Pine Lake a lot as a shortcut to the library in downtown Tucker.

Isn't it great. How would you describe it? I just loved it--stopped and couldn't stop imagining myself living there. It is a big lot--I think. Well preserved home-I'll wager that it is fully renovated inside or you could do that without much problem.

Once I found such a house near Flowers Rd, Doraville/Chamblee or something.

The owner had done the renovations himself-just back from a trip to South America with his incredibly beautiful wife. Anyway--the house had decks, stone floors and the lot overlooked woods. If you could not be happy there then you should seek professional help. They are out there--the great little houses. Get in the car each Sunday and drive your intended neighborhoods. That is what I do.

I will have to go and listen to Barbra Streisand now--'Gypsy' or something inspirational. 'Second Hand Rose'--that is a good song for me.
