Hi guys
I am coming to Atlanta and would like to drive with my family into nature.
Can you recommend me few places to drive to and spend a nice day in a nature around Atlanta.
It can be lake or some mountain or some other cool spot.
thanks!

Two additional suggestions:

Sweetwater Creek State Park
Red Top Mountain State Park (near Lake Allatoona)

Lake Burton in NE Georgia. Eat lunch at LaPrades on the lake and maybe even rent a pontoon boat. The lake is full to the brim and beautiful!
