it is a very very nice area, very family-friendly. some of the homes are extremely expensive but it is possible to find deals. for example, i am currently living in a one bedroom at Calibre Woods (2 miles from campus) for $800/month. there are cheaper apartment homes farther from Emory farther down north druid hills road but they are not as nice. and yes traffic sucks, a lot.
