I think I have posted about 'Harrison's' and Uncle Sam's --early 70's --some of the first singles clubs/meat markets? in ATL.

During the 80's there was another club near Johnson Rd/Briarcliff Rd/Emory area---I can't think of the name of that one at all.

My roommate at the time was a bit younger and insisted that we 'Go Again'--I was 30 something and 'Had Been--Enough'---but we went. She was a trip--a Speech Pathologist by day---and truly a Woman of the 80's--a more intense version of Elaine/Seinfeld.

LOL--Sex in the City of Atlanta. 'Designing Women' couldn't begin to cover all that was going on---I can tell you That.

The Moonshadow Saloon...sister bar to the Harvest Moon Saloon (corner of Lindbergh and Piedmont).

LOL! I remember seeing the Stray Cats perform live there in the early 80's.

Of course, I was there with a fake ID.

Default AIA dorms

AIA dorms were @Amber Lakes Apartments. Located in Buckhead. On Coosawattee Dr. I believe they have been demolished to make way for new buildings. Google maps shows all new developments there.

There is a Coosawattee Dr, in Brookhaven not far from me. Some of the most beautiful L.A.-style modern homes I've seen in Atlanta are on that street now!

LOL--you would think I could remember 'Moonshadow'---one of my favorite songs/Cat Stevens---still listening to him.

Tibet--Lhasa Apsos/my dog's breed guarded the monasteries there---Tibet is fortunate to have Cat Stevens. Hesitant to say more---but I do like Cat Stevens and we did have some interesting evenings at the Moonshadow. 'Blair'---she would have been a great cast member on SNL and/or comedienne--probably running her own business and married to a doctor or an attorney---lol---a force of nature---certain she has done what she wanted to do one way or the other.

Go Tahoe Apartments---some of my more interesting years were spent there. lol

One person's awesome nightlife is another person's boring crap.

I suspect the presence or absence of "nightlife" depends on what you're looking for and where...
