There was also a Putt-Putt on Cheshire Bridge Rd. Where Taqueria Del Sol and Atlanta Water Gardens is now. It amuses to think how 'family friendly' that street once was.

It's going to be a 'new concept' McDonalds.

Herren's was a downtown mainstay for 50 years.

The owner, Ed Negri, just passed away. He also had a restaurant/jazz room in Buckhead.

BuckheadView: Herren’s Restaurant’s Ed Negri dies at age 91, closing another chapter in Atlanta history and for sweet rolls

Supposedly they are reorienting their stores to attract a more health conscious market. They have lost market share in the critical 25-34 yo market and are trying to get it back.

will be very interesting to see what it is all about( I did look up the "new concept" McDonalds) the decor looks cool and they are defiantly toning down the Red and yellow and the plastic-ness of the tables etc...If they serve up a healthier menu that would be desirable to both my wife and myself!

Went there (Lionel Playworld) several times as a kid in the early 80's

They had one in Roswell at King's Market for several years before it closed in the 90's.
