Possibly moving to ATL for about 6 months (internship), I'm looking to live close to the company (downtown). Can any one tell me what Midtown and the surrounding areas are like? General price for a studio or one bedroom apartment?

I don't know a whole lot of about ATL so be as detailed as you wish.

thanks!

Here's a website on Midtown that you might find helpful. Midtown Alliance

Sorry - I don't really know what rentals are going for. I think that Midtown would be a great place for someone young and wanted to live in the city. I lived there when I was fresh out of college and loved it.

You can get a pretty nice 1BR apt in Midtown for about $900-$1000. That will get you approx 700+ square feet. I lived at 14th and Peachtree for 2 years and loved it..that specific area is one of the few where you can actually walk to places (marta, restaurants, bars/clubs, Piedmont Park).

Default Craigslist

Have you looked around on craigslist for prices? There should be plenty of available units.
