The Color Purple is actually coming to Charlotte "twice" this year; for a week in May, and a week in August. I commented before about folks "throwing stuff at the wall, just to see if it sticks". Why this comment above was even made is beyond me.

I saw color purple last year here in ATLANTA. It was really nice. But a lot people from NC Alabama Sc Tenn. first showed up in Atlanta.

I think once we get to the point where people are actually fighting about how many times "The Color Purple" has played in either of the two cities, the "close thread" button starts to look awfully good.

If any of the other mods wish to reopen this, fine. But I'm a bit tired of the conversation going over and over again about how many buildings or people each city has within their official city limits, and folks still taking little pokes and jabs at each other like they're talking about their mothers or something. Forget the Color Purple... I think people on both sides are suffering from the Big Green Monster, truth be told.
