Yep.

The project to widen the last remaining two-lane stretch of GA-360 Macland Road between New Macland/Lost Mountain Road and GA-120 is several years overdue and was actually slated to be funded with revenues from the Atlanta regional portion of the T-SPLOST referendum in 2012.

But since the T-SPLOST referendum failed miserably that year, GDOT is just now getting around to widening Macland Road here in 2020.

Default Windy Hill Rd/US-41 South Cobb Pkwy improvements allowed to move forward by Cobb commissioners

Plans to improve the often extremely busy and congested Windy Hill Road/US-41 South Cobb Parkway intersection moved forward this past week when the Cobb County Board of Commissioners allowed the county to start a planning study of the area in partnership with the Atlanta Regional Commission.

Quote:
The county wants to build an overpass on Windy Hill to remove the signal intersection, and improve the flow of traffic. The project is in the early stages, and the total cost is unknown.

Commissioners approved an agenda item that allows the county to start a planning study of the area in partnership with the Atlanta Regional Commission, the Marietta Daily Journal reported. The ARC will fund up to $320,000 for the study, and the county will cover the remaining $80,000 through its Special Purpose Local Option Sales Tax money from 2016.
Another project on Windy Hill Road is in progress about 2 miles west of the US-41 South Cobb Parkway intersection. The $42 million project — which is under construction — will widen Windy Hill Road and install express lanes between Atlanta Road and GA-280 South Cobb Drive.
