That sort of thing tends to shift quickly with time and vary between customers (since different lenders will tend to have different lending criteria and policies in place).

If it were that easy, everyone would only visit that one lender.

As the owner of a mortgage company I agree with rsteiner. I am biased towards mortgage brokers like myself since we have access to multiple lenders as opposed to banks who can only offer their rates.

To answer your question- right now Wells Fargo Wholesale is doing pretty well.
