We are moving with our two young children (both under two) and are looking for a good pediatrician with a practice in the ATL city limits. We'll be living in Inman Park . . .

I'd also like to know who to avoid, if anyone is willing to share.

Thanks!

I loved Allison Koenig at Piedmont Pediatrics behind Piedmont Hospital. Even though the practice is large, we never waited longer than 15 minutes even when we were worked in for a sick visit.

I did not like Dr Kute in Alpharetta and Cumberland Pediatrics in Marietta.

Dr Kute misdiagnosed basic problems and the staff at Cumberland Pediatrics was unprofessional. They also book patients every 10 to 15 minutes which is not acceptable when dealing with children.

My dental hygienist has been taking her children to Dr. Victor G. Polizos for years. She has hence moved to the burbs and still makes the 45 minute drive to his office in Little 5 Points.

I would second the vote for Piedmont Pediatrics and Dr. Koenig. I also like Peachtree Park Pediatrics - especially Nicole Ellerine and Anna Kuo. Avoid We Care Pediatrics. There is also a new pediatrician, Dr. Deneta Sells who has started a group called Intown Pediatrics but I don't know anything good or bad about her. I work in pediatric health care...

I have heard excellent things about Dr. Sells, and she does not over book either.
