LOL, once again, the "I won't go there so it will fail" attitude.

You find the "Atlanta is just a big suburb and has nothing" attitude all over these threads and now the "Atlanta won't support anything, it won't happen" mantra. Naysayers of America arise! Your place to post and be heard is here!

I just said I'd never go there- I never said it would fail. It's most likely going to do rather well- perhaps not as well as they'd like, given the current economy, but over time it's likely to do just fine.

LOL and I think your idea about Waffle House and the adult toy store is inspired. The fashionistas will love it.

Wouldn't it be completely KEWL if Waffle House opened some kind of high-end flagship store there? I mean, Mahogany wood floors, and the waitresses in black and white uniforms like French maids or something? Ok ok, most likely they'd still be missing teeth and have tattoos, but they'd LOOK classier from a distance. They could have, "La foofoo Waffale", and, "smothiayed and coviayed" options for the potatoes on the menu, and stuff like that. The adult toy store could only sell adult toys that have been dipped in gold and that have jewels embedded in them (ouch).

Yeah, the Streets of Buckhead could use some flavor like that.

Does anybody happen to know if there will be some cocktail lounges and wine bars around there? I mean obviously there not going to bring back Tongue & Groove but a few watering holes would be nice and give me a reason to go hang out and relax there.
