Where are some companies or complexes in Atlanta that would allow a bad credit applicant who has a roommate with good credit?

Get the apartment in your name only. Sometimes deposits increase if one tenant has questionable credit. If both parties names are on the lease and your roommate leaves you are still responsible for all of the rent, not just your portion.

Also try craigslist for individuals who are renting their homes and may be more flexible instead of the conglomerate companies who have stricter policies.

When I stayed in an apartment both my roomate and I HAD to be on the lease (I assume for liablity reasons). I'm not sure if this is the case with most Atlanta apartments.
