I don't see a single forecast below 32 degrees -- even at night -- on the 10-day forecast!

I am so happy!

Thank God. But you know it's gonna get colder before winter is over. It would be nice though if the weather was like this the rest of the winter.

I'm sure we're in for one or two more cold spells. But maybe the worst is behind us -- those nights when it gets down to 20 or less.

This is the great thing about Atlanta when you compare it with other places, especially cities up north. Here, by early Feb, the average high temp is already in the high 50's, and it's not uncommon to get days like today that are much warmer. By late Feb and March, they are the norm.

Here, you get just handful of true cold days (mostly in Jan), but they are truly the exceptions, and the rest of the winter is mild, with real snow rarely seen (sorry folks, 1" of snow isn't real snow).

This is what I'm talking about. Atlanta weather is great this time around, time to put some air in the rock and get a new net and I'm good.

Well, on the local front--in another few weeks get that 'Pre Emergent' ready--'Weeds must die!' is the battlecry at my house. For 3, maybe 4 years, I have been on the warpath and they will soon get what they deserve again.

The yard is almost stick free, soon to be leaf free and I am now tired. But, rather happy.

Yeah, we're nearing that downtown tornado anniversary, too. Might be trading cold weather for "bam" Spring storms again. Personally I like days like today where it's Springtime warm, but there's no pollen or thunderstorms to deal with. Spring - eh. Summer - yuck. Give me Autumn all the time.
