Anyone know of any good spots for a 2-year-old birthday? We took him to Chuck E. and he was very excited followed pretty quickly by very overwhelmed. He's not quite coordinated enough for those jumpy places.

I'd have it at home, but my ex and I are in the middle of an ugly battle and I need a neutral place where we can stay away from each other while still being there for our son.

TIA for any ideas!

Yeah, Chuck E. Cheeses is a bit much for a 2 yo. How about McDonald's? I don't know about the ones here, but the ones back in Huntsville had a pretty cool birthday party thing. I know lot's of divorced parents do things there because it is such a neutral area. It shouldn't cost much, and of course, the kiddies think McD is Nirvana.

Southern Prep in East Cobb is a very mild jumpy place. No crazy over the top bouncy areas. A few in the ground trampolines, a little foam pit and a few other toddler friendly areas. Well suited for small fries. Its in East Cobb.

I'd suggest you host the party at home and learn to treat your son's other parent in a civil manner as the two of you will always be united by your son.

MyGym and most of the other kids gymnastics places have fun parties for that age.

Try The Music Class - they have them in several locations around town. We just went to a 2 year old's party there and a good time was had by all.

Gymboree, Little Gym, My Gym etc should all be good choices.

Thanks so much, these are great ideas! I'm going to check them all out this week.

I'm in Henry, but the guests are spread all over town so location isn't a big deal to me.

zonababe, I hear what you're saying, but we're not argumentative with each other in person, just cold. I think it would be rude of me to ask him to sit uncomfortably in my house with my family when other options are available.

Thanks again everyone!
