My family might move to Atlanta for my freshman year of high school in August. I am 13 and living with my mom and dad. Our income is $120,000. What is the areas and high schools in Atlanta would be best for us?

The question I would pose to you is where is your parents' place of employment? There are plenty of great school districts here, but their commute time will be a key factor in where you locate.

I have not lived in Atlanta for a long while, but I heard it has grown much so traffic is heavy all day long. Place of employment is important, because it will take a long time to get to work and home every day if you live far from work. I have heard that people in Atlanta travel farther to and from work than any other big city including Los Angeles. It may be due to people being real picky on who they live next to, and I better not say anything more about that. Many years ago, I graduated from Henry Grady High, just south of Piedmont Park, so I am proud of that school. I only went there for my last year of high school as my family moved there from Milwaukee, where I went to high school for my first three years. Back then it was around a million and half people, but now it has around five and half million people from what I have heard. At least Atlanta has rapid transit, MARTA, to help with the traffic. I think MARTA is fun to ride, but I did not have to ride it to work or school every day. Have fun in Atlanta, and study hard so you can have a bright future with much happiness.
