Hi All,

I'm new to Georgia, having just moved to Sandy Springs. I would like some recommendations for auto mechanics/repair shops in the local area (I live on Glenridge Dr., near Roswell Rd.). A reliable and knowledgeable mechanic is more important than low cost, though cost is also a factor. Any recommendations will be much appreciated.
Thanks,
Jerry

Sandy Springs Garage
7475 Trowbridge Road
Atlanta, GA 30328
Phone: 770-393-8737

It's just off Roswell Road beyond Northsprings High School. Going north on Roswell Road, turn right onto Trowbridge and it's on your immediate left.

The garage closed down. I used them one time and they were really great too.

I would highly recommend N Dekalb Tire which is on Roswell Road next to Krispy Kreme before it splits into Alpharetta Hwy and Canton.

McCullogh Auto Care in Sandy Springs at the corner of Roswell Rd and Allen Rd (right @ Roswell Rd./285). I can't say enough good things about them! I started taking all of our cars there about 2 years ago after they saved me SO MUCH money fixing my BMW over Global BMW. The first time, they fixed the problem for $300, BMW said it would be $800!!! The LAST time we went to Global, they charged us $120 to tell us there is $3000 worth of work on the car because of the check engine light that kept coming on after hundreds of dollars of work already done by their dealership. I took it to McCullogh and they FIXED the problem for $185. No problems since. They are honest and have great customer service - very rare!

I love East Cobb Auto Care Center! They have always been very honest and didn't jerk me around. Especially being a woman, some will take advantage of that and tell me I need this or that hoping I just agree. I've never had a problem and have recommended them to many friends who also use them. They are at (770) 641-9906, 2955 Johnson Ferry Rd, Marietta. The guy who usually works on my car is named Casey. He talks to me, not at me, which I think is really cool.

Smile Recommended - McCullough Auto Care Sandy Springs

In one of the below threads someone recommended McCullough's. Thank you!
I read this string and went there. In times like these where money is tight I find it very valuable that they tell you what you need now vs. what can wait till later.

They offer:
-HONEST, Very friendly, professional service
