I suggested walking because there's no telling how long one would have to wait for the bus. Could be an awful long time, especially on weekends. I think I could walk from King Memorial Station to Grant Park (near Grant Central Pizza) in about 15 minutes.

It's only about half a mile from the King Memorial Station to Cherokee Avenue in Grant Park...

Yeah, that's not even a 10 minute walk....or it's 10 minutes if you're stopping to smell the roses.

And there aren't any roses, so it'd be more like 7 minutes.
