Atlanta would be the perfect place to live.....If the metro population was doubled. More, people, more options.

The turtles would be forced to move.

Atlanta would be the perfect place to live.....If things were closer together, if their was a beach near by, if their were Bodegas so I could get a good hero/breakfast sandwich/a $5 plate of Spanish Food(and when I say Spanish I mean Dominican/Puerto Rican) within walking distance of my house, if it you could see more nationalities/cultures/ethnicities

1) There were much more friendlier women who would smile
2) Many of its citizens weren't so obsessed about money & status
3) The State & City had a great synergy & could work together
4) Many of the jobs were entry level, allowing for upward moblity like the olden days
5) It had a real party district(or the old Buckhead night district of the 90's returning)
6) People were more polite & respectful of each other's beliefs & opinions
7) It had an education system like Finland's
8) The natives would just realize that the far right lane on the interstate is the slow lane
9) Criminal activity wasn't the FIRST choice for some folks
10) It had an actual "China" town

I could on & on, but y'all got the message.

...people would realize that when they say "Atlanta", you have to be specific about whether you are talking about "metro Atlanta" or "City Limits of Atlanta". Many people are making generalized comments about "Atlanta" and they do not realize that Atlanta ranges from downtown all the way out west to Fulton Industrial and Sandtown (Camp Creek), and all the way east to Maynard Terrace, the zoo, Cyclorama, etc. Atlanta is HUGE and includes unincorporated parts as well as incorporated parts.

...people would also realize that when you live in Duluth, Riverdale, or Marietta, you do not live in Atlanta...
...people moving here would stop criticizing it and go back where they came from if they don't like how it's done here...

Atlanta is what it is...no more, no less. But, it's nice to fantisize.

Atlanta Would Be the Perfect Place to Live, Only If....

People didn't come here from the North, Midwest, West because there were no jobs there and come down here and vote for the same people they did back at home that put their home state in that mess.

Also, it'd be nice if the transplants from outside the South would realize that not everyone wants to be like them, or be like there state, not all of us want to be transformed into California or New York or Chicago, etc. If we did...we'd move there.
