My family is thinking about relocating to the 30331 area, can anyone give me some feed back on this area (good & bad) in reference to schools, jobs, neighborhoods, transportation/commute to the city, etc.

Thank you.

That is a nice area. It is just south of Cascade and near Camp Creek. That area is blowing up with new houses and commercial area. It is close enough to downtown, yet outside the perimeter so your housing is much cheaper. There are some really affluent black neighborhoods around there. Its also close to the airport which is convenient. Can't tell you much about the schools or jobs there, but the living and commute are good.

South Fulton is another new developing area in Atlanta. It grews rapidly just like many other areas in atlanta, but the public schools there are not very good right now, IMO. Maybe those schools will become better in the future. There is great private school called Woodwood Academy in College Park. Maybe that's an option.

Check the stat on this Georgia report card web site.
