My advice is to do the best you can and have no regrets. I really think Kia is just judging your strengths and weaknesses with the assesment and skill test. I have a strong background in PLC and Motor Controls, descent mech skills, and one God awful stick welder. I have a feeling that in the post training they will give me another crack at welding or start introducing me to their standard control systems. Best of luck to you, i sure you will do well.
I will comment on the union topic. I feel that unions had a place at one time and were needed to protect the common worker. However, I really feel that they now hurt any industry that they can stick their fingers in. I have been to union plants all over the country an will tell you, I would never work in any of them.

I just went for my initial interview with two separate parties and am assuming it went well, handed me a letter stating I would be notified of the next step....all in all can someone give me the time frames that each of you have experienced after each step of the hiring process?
