Yeah you might have to drive around a little bit but I usually park on one of the side streets so a) i'm not trying to parallel park with a bunch of traffic and b) i have an easier time finding a spot. I've never not found a spot. And yes, it's free.

Same here. Even when the extremely busy Inman Park arts festival was going on ( a must-see in the Spring ), I found a parking spot in LFP - though admittedly it was around 10am when I got down there, too.

5 Points is in downtown Atlanta http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Five_Points_(Atlanta) It's where Marietta Street, Edgewood Avenue, Decatur Street, and two points of Peachtree converge.

It's not a hip bohemian area like Little 5 Points. WELCOME TO LITTLE FIVE POINTS-ATLANTA

If you like burgers, make sure you hit the Vortex while you're there!

If you like pizza, Little 5 Pizza (or is it Little 5 Points Pizza???) just around the corner has really good by-the-slice stuff. Savage Pizza, in the same lot as the Vortex, is supposed to be good but I wasn't crazy about it.

Little 5 lost its cultural identity when they painted over the wall size mural of Aldous Huxley with a portrait of Tupac? or some other rapper??? Just sayin'. Couldn't they have found a different wall?

Interesting. L5P is not even Atlanta's #1 hipster neighborhood, and hasn't been for many years. Maybe not even #2.
