So Im 25 with one child moving from Wisconsin to Georgia (my mom stays in Decatur, and it seems nice to me) My mom try to convince me its really hard and expensive to live there in georgia( I think she just dont want to be a grandmom) but anywhoo I already have a job lined up in Norcross GA which Im not even sure where that is,is decatur and norcross far from eachother and also Im wondering is my mom right about it being expensive and what about state programs? here in wisconsin working adults with children can get child care through the state were they help with the costs of childcare...do Georgia have that?

It depends on where you are from in Wisconsin. If you are from Milwaukee, the rise in cost of living will probably be minimal. If you are coming from the country it will be a shock.

Norcross and Decatur aren't very far from each physically, but if you planning on living in Decatur the commute back home will be brutal. The morning should be fine however.

depends on where you're at in decatur. there are some parts of s. decatur that are a little sketch. norcross isn't that bad to live in though, and that would help with your commute.
