Can anyone referrme to some scholarhips offered by atlanta hospitals (other than Children's Healthcare of Atlanta)? Or hospitals that offer service cancelable loans?

Any help would be appreciated!

Hi.

I think I had a neighbor who returned to school and was able to use HOPE (she was older, so she hadn't used it in undergrad). Are you a GA resident and have you used HOPE yet?

You have to be eligible -- you can read more here

Default IDA Savings Programs

Many Credit Unions, through the Federal Government, offer IDA Savings Programs. If your current income is less than 150% of the federal poverty guidelines you can qualify for 3:1 matching funds to be used towards starting a business, purchasing a home or... attending school. If you can save $50 a month, once you reach $1,333.33 in savings the program will match your funds. Good deal! Call more than one credit union, also call non-profit neighborhood organizations... my credit union, according the it's newsletter, was granted 200 IDA Savings Programs and has thusfar accepted applications for 1/2 of the allocatted funds. I am in Minnesota, but this is a federal program... a friend of mine wants to go to nursing school and her employer will reimburse her after the first semester, I told her about the IDA program and she is submitting her application his week.
