Reece - Don't worry about all the hype you have probably heard re: Atlanta AND MARTA.

You are definately on the right track with your plans. Do buy a 4 day pass card, it will be worth it. The Dunwoody parking garage is safe, just don't leave anything out and visible in your car.

The ride to Arts Center from Dunwoody will only take about 15 minutes. When you get off the train, take the stairs up a level and then get on the elevator and take it to the top level. You will come out on the street behind the Arts Center. Take a right, walk to the corner, take a left and walk up the steep hill. You will come out at 15th & Peachtree, and directly across the street you will see a huge complex with a Houlihan's facing you. This is Colony Square, and the W is at the opposite end of the complex. You will be in the heart of Midtown, one of the best areas we have to offer.

If you can think of anything else, ask away!

^No problem. We LOVE having visitors enjoy themselves.

Just out of curiosity, where do you live?

Plan was to take 75 S to 285. Get off at exit 29 Ashford Dunwoody take a left on hammond and be there. Is that right?

Yes, that is perfect. After you turn left on Hammond, get in the right lane. You will see the elevated MARTA tracks. Pass under them, and hang a right on Perimeter Center West. Go half a block up, and you'll turn in there for the parking deck.

Sounds as if you have definately planned things right!

Have fun, and enjoy Atlanta.

Thanks again for everything! I suppose now the big question is where should I eat around the con or the hotel? Any cool shops I should check out also?
