Have you tried East Cobb? I know there are plenty of nice, family-oriented areas close to and in Marietta that would be better for you than Dacula. That drive would be a total nightmare.

Normal: 1 hour. Normal doing anything close to the speed limit 1.5 hours

Traffic: no less than 2, possibly 4 if you get a bad day

Yes, the drive would be too far to even consider...

I can make it to Charlotte in about 3.75 hours without traffic. It shouldn't take 1.5 hours without traffic to get to/from Dacula/Marietta, even doing the speed limit.

Unless you are working from about 9PM until about 4AM or you like torture, I would not even think about it! It would be about 1 hour with no traffic and about 3 hours each way if you are doing 9 to 5.

Dacula to Marietta? That is madness, plain and simple. Especially when you can have what you would have in Dacula in any number of communities in Cobb County.

We who live here know how it it pronounced but people in Illinois- not! If they see it written, Gawd knows what they will do. I have a hard time with my family saying Smyrna!
